* Close Quarters Combat (CQC) tactics * "CQB demands a rapid assault and a precise application of lethal force. The operators need great proficiency with their weapons....CQB is defined as a short-duration, high-intensity conflict, characterized by sudden violence at close range." This video here was just an extra, I hadn't set out to beat the TV station in 38 seconds - just that my strategy for this part was so effective, I realised I could do it with few hits taken, so after a few tries this video was the result. So, from struggling to get through this TV station, to come up with a strategy to beat it - which over half an hour of playing, I was figuring out the best way to beat this level (the video "killer tactics" was the result of about 10 minutes after discovering the strategy to beat this, and 2 hours later to develop that, this video was the result, and then the next day the whole mission without dying. It's all about tactics, and the how well those tactics are executed. I had practiced on this part for about 2 hours, trying various tactics, to try to find out a consistent way of beating this part. A strategy that had a high success rate. Because I was attempting to beat this whole mission without dying, and the outside battle was going well, but when I got to the TV station, my challenge would fail. So, the best way to approach this mission if you are wanting to complete it on veteran without dying - is look at it as 2 parts. The outside battle, then the TV station its important you are able to get through the TV station on most attempts. Once you are confident enough with that, and then try the whole mission to put it all together. For the first half hour of practicing this part, I had tried - unsuccessfully, going round the left approach (as seen in my other video - "quick play best tactics") But that approach is so much more difficult - it is flawed, because you are moving directly into those enemies coming out of that entrance - they have time to spread out and make life difficult for you - also, you are very exposed, not just from that group, but the enemies on the balcony can get a clear shot at you as soon as you move out from that door. Going round the right flank is much more effective, because you can neutralise that group as soon as they come out of that entrance - that is essentially the group you fight all through this tv station - apart from the enemies on the balcony. This tactic, moving around their right flank, taking out the initial group at that entrance, and moving your way around, while your marines move around the left flank, completing what is, essentially, a pincer movement. My specs are: Pentium 4 CPU 3.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 256MB ATI Radeon X300 graphics card. Recorded using Fraps.

CPU Difficulty: LVL 5 No Organ Wait No Organ Assist -You're likely to get attacked while issuing commands. -You become easily overwhelmed due to units asking for assistance. -Leaving the MasterGhost Unguarded is truly a bad thing. I gave it my all in the last round not to let the Master get the final hit on my MasterGhost. I forgot about Sin's long range projectiles LOL.
