Reports of illegal activity engaged in by TeamStaff, one of the largest staffing agencies in the United States which supplies workers to U.S. Government facilities. After these reports, TeamStaff made major concessions to its employees placed at the Hines, IL Veterans Administration facility. The concessions came after workers who felt they were unjustly fired by the company had rallied and filed a complaint against the TeamStaff with the Illinois Department of Labor last Thursday (November 20, 2008). The complaint alleged that TeamStaff has been operating illegally without an Illinois Day and Temporary Labor Service license and that the Veterans Administation has also broken the law by contracting employees through TeamStaff. The fired workers have also filed a discrimination complaint against TeamStaff at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
