‘Tis the Season–Full of Firsts
Jump to Comments On Thursday, we celebrated our first Thanksgiving ever–just the five of us.  We’d initially planned on celebrating the holiday with Andrew’s side of the family.  But, alas illnesses amongst the kids within two separate family units prompted our staying put. We introduced our kids to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time ever.  With our older two children being 5 1/2 and 4-years-old, I figured they’d really get a kick out of watching the monstrous floats and ballo

This year, she began decorating the week before Thanksgiving. She’ll decorate the home for other holidays but not like she does for Christmas.

A good time.
Thanksgiving was great! Good company, good food, good times.Today, we have worked on "decking the halls." Oh, the weather outside is frightful. Well, only raining, but Winter is surely on it’s way! Brrr, it’s cold! Getting psyched for Thanksgiving this week! Family will be visiting and we’ll be stuffing our faces with turkey that has been stuffed. Hm. Interesting wording there. We are also planning on doing the Christmas decorating thing hoping to start a tradition with the kids. Fun! So, bundle up out there and have a great Holiday week! Junk Drawer Sunday ~ friends and family
A huge ‘thank you’ to WK for helping me put together this new graphic for my Sunday blogs.  This is my final daily post for November. WooHoo! I held on through the entire month, and bitch slapped NaBloPoMo! I don’t think I’ll try this again for a while, if ever. It wasn’t difficult to post something everyday for 30 days, but it was an enormous waste commitment of time.  Thanks to everyone for sticking with me and for putting up with some truly odd posts.  WK also made the NaBloPoMo button i
